Thank you so much for taking a look at my work. To answer you question: It sort of means two things. For some of the work I do I illustrate elements separately, scan the drawings/paintings and then compose them together digitally, sort of like a collage. I apply this method of creating an image often when working on commercial illustration projects. Then, for other pieces I may also slightly augment my painting digitally to create the desired final image/effect or to add finishing touches that I cannot achieve with paint. I also like to do this to maintain an original painting that is unique ie. the prints are slightly different from the original work. Are you an artist exhibiting on this tour? I’d love to see your work!
